Date for your diary - Women’s Panel Event
As part of AFC Wimbledon’s International Women’s Day celebrations, everyone is invited to an event that will feature women who work in sports including an Olympic gold medal winner and former AFC Wimbledon Foundation Trustee.
Women of Wimbledon Supporters Association (WOWSA) will be hosting a Women’s Panel Event at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, offering an opportunity to hear about the roles and successes of women connected with our club who have significant careers in the sports industry, and a passion for AFC Wimbledon.
The evening is part of AFC Wimbledon’s International Women’s Day celebrations and will take place on Thursday 6th March at 7.30pm.
Sophie Hosking (pictured below)
A 2012 Olympic gold medal winner for GB in the Women’s Lightweight Double Skulls rowing, Sophie is former Legal Counsel for The Football Association, and is now General Counsel at Benefex. Sophie also served as a Trustee for AFC Wimbledon Foundation from 2019 - 2024.
Jenny Archer
Former fitness coach for Wimbledon FC first team and youth, Jenny was also Fulham Ladies fitness coach, long-time coach of Paralympic gold medal winning champion David Weir, and co-founder of the Weir Archer Academy.
Tammy Parlour
Tammy is Co-founder and CEO of the Women's Sport Trust, Director of AFC Wimbledon Women, and Board member of the Football Association Women’s National League (FAWNL)
Charlotte Samuelson
Chief Operating Officer (COO) of World Rugby, Charlotte is former Non-Executive Director of Surrey County Cricket Club.
WOWSA are delighted to welcome back last year’s panel host Hannah Kumari, Campaign Manager of Fans For Diversity at The Football Supporters' Association, who will once again host this exciting and insightful evening.

Doors open at 6.45pm with panel discussion at 7.30pm. The bar will be open to purchase refreshments.
