5-a-side league

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲!

The AFC Wimbledon Foundation will be running organised leagues on our state-of-the-art 5-a-side pitch, based at Plough Lane.

Squads of 7 compete to win a £100 Bar Tab at By the Horns x Plough Lane or tickets to an AFC Wimbledon Home game.

The league uses qualified referees and provides direct access to By the Horns for post-match drinks!

We are also investigating the possibility of running a league on Sunday mornings/early afternoons.

AFC Wimbledon Foundation’s 5-a-side pitch

Thanks to funding from the Football Foundation, we are delighted to have constructed a 5-a-side Astroturf pitch at our Plough Lane home, which will be available from September.

The pitch will be used by the AFC Wimbledon Foundation to increase our provision of community sessions. Details of these sessions and how to attend them will be announced in the near future.

The pitch will also be available for use by local schools and teams, to maximise the benefit it provides. Schools using the pitch regularly will also have the opportunity to have a tour of the new stadium.

All of this works towards our aim of promoting AFC Wimbledon and making Plough Lane a vibrant community hub.
