We are delighted to offer 40 charity places for the inaugural Run South London Half Marathon, the first ever closed-road half marathon organised by the world-renowned Great Run Series.

Taking place in the heart of South London, this exciting new event gives you the chance to experience an unforgettable race day while raising vital funds to support AFC Wimbledon Foundation’s work across our local community.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, taking on your first half marathon, or looking for a new challenge in 2027, you can join Team AFC Wimbledon Foundation and help us create a healthier, stronger and more connected community.

Fundraising target

To join Team AFC Wimbledon Foundation, we ask runners to:

  • Pay a £25 registration fee to secure your charity place

  • Commit to raising a minimum of £450 in sponsorship

Every pound raised will help us deliver life-changing programmes that support local people through sport, education, health and inclusion.

As part of the team you'll receive:

  • Guaranteed entry into the 2027 Run South London Half Marathon (Sunday 14 March)

  • Dedicated fundraising support

  • Training guidance and team training runs

  • An official AFC Wimbledon Foundation running vest

  • A Foundation cheer point on the half marathon route

  • A post-race celebration with your teammates

Places are limited, so don’t miss your chance to be part of the first ever Run South London Half Marathon.

Sign up and run for your community.

Prefer to just come and cheer

You can still join us: and help make as much noise as possible for our runners at our cheer points

your support transforms lives

Your support helps us change lives. Every pound raised gives hope to children growing up in difficult circumstances facing disadvantage and isolation across Southwest London. It means a safe space after school, someone to talk to, a coach who believes in them, and the chance to be part of something positive. You’re not just funding a programme - you’re helping someone feel seen, valued, and capable of more. With your help, we can break down barriers and open up brighter futures. Thank you for standing with us.
