our partners

our partners are vital to imroving the lives of our local community

You can create a unique partnership of your own and build a long-lasting, mutually beneficial, transformational relationship with AFC Wimbledon Foundation.

Thanks to our current partners we are able to continue our mission… helping our community pursue their dreams by improving their skills, resilience, well-being and confidence. But we need to do more…

MidexPRO

The official title sponsor of two core AFC Wimbledon Foundation pillars…

  • Inspiring active lifestyles in local children

  • Improving the lives of older people

Starting in July 2023 MidexPRO are working closely with AFC Wimbledon Foundation to improve the programmes we deliver to help us continue to reach, engage and inspire local people of all ages. We are so pleased to have Gary, Caroline and the MidexPRO Team as a key partner for the next 2 years.

Wimbledon Foundation

We are delighted that Wimbledon Foundation are the title sponsor of our pillar: championing sustainable sports participation for women’s and girls. The Foundation are funding our new Women and Girls Development Officer position for the next three years so we can increase the number of women and girls playing sport regularly in our community.

We also have a three year partnership where together we are improving our FREE school holiday activity programmes so that the most disadvantage children in our community enjoy a range of activities from cooking and arts and craft to dodge ball and, of course, short tennis.

Clarion Futures

Clarion Housing Group’s charitable foundation, Clarion Futures, aims to transforms lives and improve the communities of their residents. The Foundation has worked closely with Clarion Futures since 2017 when they began to support us to deliver a free Friday football session. Since then they have helped the Foundation to develop innovative and exciting community projects for their residents across Merton.

Embassy of Mankind

Our 1 year partnership has enabled us to reach, engage and inspire more disadvantaged children in our FREE Kicks football sessions. Kicks football sessions harness young people’s love of football to help them lead healthier and happier lives, make positive life choices, access more opportunities and be part of a safer, inclusive and more welcoming community.

The Nelson Health Centre and Fulcrum

The AFC Wimbledon Foundation is delighted to partner with The Nelson Health Centre and Fulcrum who invest in community health care. Since 2015 they have played a key role in the local community by providing health facilities such as: GP surgeries; mental health services; minor surgery facilities; specialist outpatient clinics and support services for older people.

They have supported the Foundation to begin new weekly sessions for adults, and the Foundation have supported them with key health messaging and testing on matchday for supporters.

Social Injustice Ltd

Social Injustice Limited was founded in April 2023 by former England International Kickboxer Dean Morgan. After being involved in competitive combat sports and also as a community sports coach, he soon realised there were challenges to funding sports in the UK. Due to his own personal life experiences, Dean understands more than most the power sport can play to create a positive outcome. Now he and his team, work tirelessly to create opportunities and fights for equality through sports.

Together with AFC Wimbledon Foundation, Dean and his team are working on a Safer Spaces project at Tooting & Mitcham Community Sports Club that looks to use sport and mentoring to achieve positive outcomes for young people at risk or involved in youth violence.

If you have any questions about how you can partner with us or sponsor one of our community initiatives , please email Paul Munro or call 07888 636 032.
