The FA Cup Visits Active Ageing

There was a surprise guest at our Active Ageing session on Thursday, as the FA Cup visited to take our participants on a trip down memory lane.

The trophy was kindly provided by Ray Armfield of WiSH (Wimbledon in Sporting History), who talked to the group about the history of Wimbledon FC, before putting a Wimbledon themed spin on their usual weekly quiz.

Our Active Ageing sessions aim to improve the mental and physical health of older people, with a range of activities such as Indoor bowls and curling, as well as a weekly quiz.

Thank you to MidexPRO for sponsoring our Older Health pillar, allowing us to expand our work and help local people who need it most. To find out more about becoming a corporate partner like MidexPRO, please click here.
