Bike to Stevenage 2026 – The 4th Velo and Blue Away Day Ride on Saturday 14 March 2026!

We’re looking for adventurous Dons fans to join our 4th Velo and Blue Away Day Cycle Challenge – a sponsored 50 mile ride from Plough Lane to Stevenage FC’s Lamex Stadium, finishing with a free away-end ticket to cheer on AFC Wimbledon.

This is your chance to watch The Dons away, meet fellow fans, take on a personal challenge, and raise money to support the Foundation’s community programmes. Our 2025 ride to Gillingham was a huge success, raising £20,000 - and we’re aiming even higher this year.

What to Expect:

The ride begins on Saturday morning at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, heading north of the river and following a scenic mix of cycle paths and quiet routes through London. We’ll reach Stevenage in good time to shower, change, and grab lunch before the 3pm kick-off. After the match, riders and bikes will be transported safely back to Plough Lane.

This event is non-competitive and open to cyclists of all abilities. Go at your own pace – fast or steady - with full support throughout the journey. Every Velo and Blue ride has been defined by an amazing sense of camaraderie among the riders, something truly special among Dons fans.

Registration Includes:

o Free match ticket (away end at Stevenage FC)

o Secure bike storage during the game

o Full ride support

o Fundraising guidance & resources

o Transport back to Plough Lane

Join us for a brilliant, social, charity challenge - ride with fellow Dons fans, support your community, and be part of something unforgettable.

Let’s ride, cheer, and create positive change together. 🚴‍♂️💛💙
