Phil Hastings Appointed as CEO

AFC Wimbledon Foundation are delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Hastings as our new CEO.

Phil is currently Head of Community Programmes at Chelsea FC Foundation and will take up the role on Thursday 13th June. Having previously worked within Southampton FC’s Foundation, he will bring lots of experience and great vision for the future of our award-winning charity.

Phil said “I am extremely excited to get started with AFC Wimbledon Foundation, a club which aims to be fully embedded in the community and serving its fantastic network of supporters. The charity is led by some extremely passionate trustees and staff, whose vision and values align closely to my own. I am really looking forward to enhancing the work of this great organisation locally and I’m joining the charity in a very strong position, proven by its recent award as the winner of the EFL Trust Community Club of the season. I can’t wait to get started, continuing to develop innovative and impactful programmes to support our community.”

AFC Wimbledon Foundation engages and inspires over 3500 people every week across Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston, in order to inspire, support and deliver positive change in our community.
